I have just come back from visiting Mum, a little better yet again which is good. Former neighbours were also visiting which gave her a boost and as I had not seen them for some years we had a bit to catch up on.
Brian had another nerve block in his back this morning, it would be nice to think this will be the last, fingers crossed. He has finally been given the all clear to go back to full-time working hours which will be good for his morale after nearly eighteen months.
Tomorrow we are off to Clayton Bay to catch up with some old friends, it should be a lovely day. If we get home in time we will then be off to Blake’s, my third son, for a house-warming.
Now for my thoughts on gay adoption, in an ideal world I can appreciate the view that a child needs both a mother and a father, but we do not live in an ideal world. I believe that as long as a child is loved it does not matter whether the parents are gay or straight, all that matters is that the child feels special and has a decent start in life.
