Thoughts of a middle aged man…..2 June 2012

The mighty Adelaide Crows continued their march toward the finals with a resounding victory over Fremantle, once again not without a scare though. Go the Crows!

Tonight I cooked devilled sausages and made a fruit crumble. My son Ryan and his fiancée Melissa came for dinner along with their three children, Bailey, Cody and Calais. Calais is my youngest grandchild, 10 months old next week, she is crawling and pulling herself up on furniture but she has a temper, the “chick” gene a like to call it.

It was a really nice visit, as much as I love all my children and grandchildren, I like spending time with each family independently as there is more chance to talk with the adults and interact with the grandchildren. I have to admit though that I still love the occasional big family get together, especially if it is at one of my son’s homes.

When we went outside to say goodbye it was bitterly cold and there was a lot of moisture in the air, feels like rain to me.

We have been talking about The Secret tonight so why not finish with a quote, “The law of attraction is a law of nature. It is as impartial as the law of gravity. Nothing can come into your experience unless you summon it through persistent thoughts”. Makes you think doesn’t it? 🙂
