Thoughts of a middle aged man…..7 June 2012

Bored, bored, bored! My life has become so boring. I get up in the morning and look for a job, I have lunch and watch a couple of cooking shows, then back on the computer looking for a job, cook dinner, do some washing, do some housework then Brian comes home and we watch television. Brian is bored as well.

Thursday night television, boring, boring, boring, the only decent show is Alan Carr : Chatty Man, and this series finished tonight. Tonight he was up to his usual naughty antics this time with Kylie Minogue who took it all in her stride.

Tomorrow will be a good day, it is the day I will get the call telling me I have a job, and the day Brian gets the call confirming his future. As soon as we are both working again life can get back to normal, no more boring days and nights except by choice.

For those in the know this is my 100th blog. When I started writing back in March I thought it would not last long but here I am 4 months and 100 blogs later still writing up a storm. I have always tried to be honest and I hope that sometimes I am funny, it would be great if I could bring a smile to someone’s dial, it would make it all worthwhile.

Now for a quote from The Secret, “To know what you’re thinking, ask yourself how you are feeling. Emotions are valuable tools that instantly tell us what we are thinking. It is impossible to feel bad and at the same time have good thoughts”. Keep smiling 🙂
