Thoughts of a middle aged man…..12 June 2012

As I was cooking dinner tonight the phone rang and on the other end was a gentleman with an Indian/Pakistani accent telling me they have reports of a security issue with my Microsoft computer. While I was getting rid of him Brian’s mobile rang and you guessed it, a gentleman with an Indian/Pakistani accent telling him they have reports of a security issue with his Microsoft computer. Two phone calls at the very same time, as they had no idea they were calling the same household it was obviously a scam of some kind so Brian promptly came upstairs and disconnected our internet.

Is there something wrong with me or am I the only person in Australia who is tired of hearing about the Azaria Chamberlain case? I acknowledge that her death was a terrible tragedy but it was 32 years ago, why can this baby not be left in peace, perhaps now?

As I said on Facebook today I have been called back for a second interview tomorrow for a new job, thank you to everyone who has taken the time to wish me luck. Watch this space for tomorrow’s post.

Now for a bit of a winge, I am tired of all the sexual innuendo and provocative photographs of semi naked women. This is not the forum for this kind of thing which is offensive to women, and should not be seen by underage and impressionable teenagers. I have a nephew at the moment who is incurring my wrath and needs to take heed. You wonder why you cannot find a girlfriend, reassess your attitude to women and see what happens.
