Thoughts of a middle aged man…..19 June 2012

The sun has been shining most of the day yet it is still so cold the washing on the line isn’t drying, I may have to put everything in the clothes dryer. At least I was able to go for a walk today which I thoroughly enjoyed.

I have some stale bread which I was about to throw out today when I remembered that we have had a lot of birds in the back yard of late so I decided to throw it outside and see what happens. You guessed it, I will be throwing more out tomorrow, the birds loved it.

I am felling quite invigorated at the moment, I don’t know whether the planets are in alignment but everything seems to be falling into place at last. I am feeling more relaxed, more content, I feel like I have control of my life back.

Tonight I cooked a delicious stir fry, a little bit of this and a little bit of that and it tasted lovely, the combination of sauces I used was nice, the vegetables were crunchy, and we both enjoyed it. Unfortunately the same can’t be said for dessert, oh well, you win some and you lose some.

It looks like Big Brother is about to hit the small screen again, and the one person I know that can’t stand reality TV shows is actually looking forward to it. Just when I thought I had Brian figured out he throws me a curve ball. Life with Brian is rarely dull, sometimes I yearn for dull 🙂

To finish, a quote from The Secret, “Like Aladdin‘s Genie, the law of attraction grants our every command. The Creative Process helps you create what you want in three simple steps: ask, believe, and receive”. Thank you.
