Yesterday the Adelaide Crows proved they are contenders and not just pretenders after turning a 33 point deficit into a win against Richmond. It was a truly exciting game and as always there was a good crowd in attendance.
Last night was the long-awaited reunion with my oldest and dearest friends, what a great night was had by all. We may all be showing the odd wrinkle but in our hearts we are still the teenagers we were when we met. Thank you to everyone who came, particularly those from interstate, and thank you to Julie’s Dad Jim Thompson, who along with his late wife put up with our shenanigans night after night as kids. We were all very happy to see Jim who is a fit as ever and would give some of us a run for our money.
We had a few missing last night, Tom, Sylvia and Bryan to name a few, so hopefully with plenty of notice we will see them next time. There were also those who are no longer with us and are sadly missed, namely Mark, Leanne, and Mrs Thompson, forever remembered and in our hearts.
Thank you to the Blue Gums Hotel for your wonderful service.
Thank you for reading.
