Thoughts of a middle aged man…..5 July 2012

This week has really knocked the stuffing out of Brian and I. Brian is already snoring his head off in bed and I will be as soon as I sign off. Bugger this working for a living, it’s tires you out 🙂

I have now reached the conclusion that nothing, and I mean nothing in strata management is simple or straight forward. This industry is definitely not paper friendly. As you all know I have been a strata manager previously so the job is not new to me, but the processes are just as convoluted in their own way as they were in my previous role. Anyway if that is all I have to complain about then I reckon life is not too bad at the moment.

It is very nice working virtually on The Parade, so many lovely eateries and so many shops. If you are not the type of person that works through lunch you would have no problem finding something to bide your time.

On the way home I had to stop in at the chemist for a couple of prescriptions, now how interesting is that bit of trivia :). One slight problem, I took the wrong prescription so it looks like another trip tomorrow.

Brian’s mother is having day surgery tomorrow, so he has the day off to take her to the hospital and she cannot be left on her own afterwards, so he will be staying the night with her. Whatever will I do, no-one to hog the TV remote, I can watch whatever I please. Ahhh, that’s the life.

Don’t forget to check out Graham’s Goodies, we have a new kids page http://www.grahamsgoodies.net/for_the_kids.html. Thank you for reading.
