Thoughts of a middle aged man…..20 July 2012

This week has been a good week, work is going well, my son Ryan has finally landed himself a decent job, and as far as I know my other sons are all good. My grandson Jayden started school, that makes five grandchildren at school now. The only thing really missing at the moment is that one big lotto win, but that will come.

I am looking forward to the weekend as well, Blake and his daughter Jade are coming for tea tomorrow night so that will be a good night. All in all life is looking up at last, not just for Brian and I but for my children as well.

I am very pleased to say that I am attracting more and more readers of my blog all the time, not only do I have a lot of regulars but I am getting a lot of visitors as well, very rewarding.

I could not sign off tonight without mentioning one of my oldest and dearest friends who sadly lost her husband of 31 years yesterday. I will not invade your privacy by mentioning your name but please know my thoughts are with you and your family at this time.

Although we may not have seen a lot of each other over the years I still feel a closeness to you that will never be broken. My dear, dear friend, you will be in my heart always and I promise I will see you soon.

Thank you for reading.
