Thoughts of a middle aged man…..22 July 2012

Brian and I had a very lazy morning so after a late breakfast we decided to drive down to Blackwood Park and look at display homes. We found one that we liked very much but I find that when you look at too many all at once they all sort of blend in together.

We have both decided that we are over two storey but don’t want a single level so we are now looking at split level. I don’t think we will find what we want in a display village, I think we may have to design our own home. Brian is very keen to build a house but as I have been there and done that I am not so keen, so we will see what happens.

Tonight was the last episode in this series of Downton Abbey, Brian is very relieved whereas I am quite disappointed, particularly as Revenge finishes tomorrow night as well.

My son Ryan has arrived safely in Whyalla to start his new job tomorrow. I know it will be difficult for him to be away from Melissa and their children, but a man’s gotta do what a man’s gotta do. Good luck Son, I am sure this will be the start of good things for you all.

Tomorrow is my day off and I have to see my doctor and cook a lamb roast. The gardener will also be coming so the yards will look nice again.

To close a quote from The Secret, “To use the law of attraction to your advantage, make it an habitual way of being, not just a one-time event. At the end of every day, before you go to sleep, go back through the events of the day. Any events or moments that were not what you wanted, replay them in your mind the way you wanted then to go”. Thank you for reading.
