Thoughts of a middle aged man…..31 August 2012

It is 15 years today since Diana, Princess of Wales was tragically killed. There was a very moving tribute on Channel 9 tonight, much better than the muck raking usually dished up. Diana was a unique individual, imperfect, but then again who isn’t. It is time to remember all the good she did and let her rest in peace.
Ryan and Melissa have just picked up their three children, Bailey, Cody and Calais. As Ryan works in Whyalla 11 days on and 3 days off they do not get much time together so tonight we did our bit to help whilst they had dinner and saw a movie. The kids were all good as usual and who do you think was the last one to fall asleep, Calais, just 10 minutes before her parents collected her. The little Miss ran me ragged tonight and I am looking forward to bed.
I have had a busy week at work this week but busier times are coming, I do not think it will be long before I am up to 4 days per week which will suit me very well.
My eldest granddaughter Caitlin went into hospital today for a minor procedure but has to remain in hospital for a few days. She is doing very well and we will see her tomorrow,
That’s all from me tonight. Thank you for reading.
