What can I say, the Mighty Adelaide Crows are not all that mighty at the moment. I think it was the inaccurate kicking for goal that finished them today, it was still a reasonably good match but some of the usual stars just did not shine. Looking on the bright side they rarely lose two straight, particularly at home, so the Fremantle Dockers had better watch out Friday night. Such a shame about Daniel Talia, a broken arm has robbed of the chance to potentially play in a Grand Final at the last hurdle. At least he has the satisfaction of knowing he is the best of the new young players this year having won the NAB Rising Star award earlier in the week.
I have just got home after a night of fun watching High Risk Pro Wrestling. I got to see all of my grandchildren and three of my sons, what a good night, and the wrestling wasn’t bad either, a good family night out. Watch out for the next show on the October long weekend, Blake “The Man” Mitchell, who just happens to be son Number 3, will be wrestling that night in his farewell performance.
Blake has been organising these shows for a number of years now, he is quite the entrepeneur, and the shows are definitely much more entertaining than the they were a few years ago. Blake should be very proud of how far he has come, as I am. The only downside, Blake is back to Melbourne in the morning so it will be another month before I see him again.
Brian and I are off to the Royal Adelaide Show tomorrow so time for this little old man to go to bed. Thank you for reading.
