It has taken me the best part of today to prepare the meeting notices for one large retirement village that I manage. I thought I would knock it off in a couple of hours but no, I really underestimated that one, but at least I got them in the mail on time.
My first stop tomorrow is a corporation in Modbury for an Annual General Meeting, then into the office for another hectic day. This week has been really full on, probably the busiest week I have had since starting this job. One thing I am not is bored at the moment, no time for that.
Brian is still enjoying his new job which is just as well as he is now earning more money than me for the first time. He has never come home so tired before, most nights he nods off on the lounge, he is really earning his money, I don’t think he has ever worked so hard for someone else.
Neither of us are afraid of hard work, the hours we put in whilst running the cafe and the pub seven days a week really tested our resolve. Looking back I don’t know how we did it, particularly in the beginning when I was spending three hours a day driving to and from Adelaide five days a week, and working all weekend as well as late Friday and Saturday nights. It is amazing what you can do when you have to. I know another little blogger that knows just where I am coming from, hey Neet?
My theory is that when my time comes to meet my maker I won’t be saying what if I had done this, or what if I had done that, because I have done it. Thank you for reading.
