Thoughts of a middle aged man…..14 September 2012

Hello all, I thought I would get in early tonight as I want to watch the Adelaide Crows defeat the Fremantle Dockers, let’s hope I don’t regret saying that. The telecast does not finish until 11.30 by which time I won’t feel like putting finger to keyboard.

I had a good day at work today, damn busy again, it’s amazing what you can pump through when the phones are quiet though. It looks like I will be working four days next week though as I have fallen a bit behind, fortunately my bosses give me the flexibility to do that. I think one extra day should be sufficient.

I have just spoken to Blake in Melbourne and he has some bug or another and is not feeling very well, being away from home would not be helping. I also spoke to Wade who is currently doing work experience at Harris Scarfe which he seems to be enjoying, it would be good if there is a job at the end of it.

Very proud of Bailey at the moment, he has received a very good school report. The poor kid may have missed his footy presentation though as Calais is sick and Melissa was having some trouble getting someone else to take him, unfortunately we did not find out until it was too late.

Well I can feel the excitement building, nearly time for the football. Take care all and thank you for reading.
