What a great storm tonight, thunder, lightning and rain, it doesn not bode well for strata managers tomorrow, but it has been a treat to listen to. Let’s hope there is not much property damage.
As a Big Brother fan I am perplexed as to why Estelle is still in the house, and even more perplexed by the fact that she is now a clear favourite to win. This is one of the most annoying girls I have ever come across, surely Layla or Ben must have a bigger following than this 20 something that just seems to copy what everyone else in the house says and does.
I was right about my weekend, it was not great. On Sunday morning I got a distress call from my 30-year-old Son Ryan as both he and his fiancée were a crook as dogs, so he asked if we would watch Calais for the day. Naturally we agreed and a couple of hours later my youngest granddaughter was making herself at home. I have to say that I have never seen Ryan look so ill, and Melissa was not much better, as I walked in to their home I could hear her heaving her stomach up.
Calais finished up staying the night and she and I slept downstairs on the couches which I had pushed together so she would not fall off. It was a rough night for both of us. As Ryan was much better this morning I took her home first thing and then came back home and went to bed.
I know I sound like I am complaining but that is not the case, I always have been and always will be there for my kids when they need me. It is a nice feeling to be needed by your kids. I am grateful though that I had Brian to help yesterday as I am out of practice with an active 14 month old.
This coming weekend we will be looking after all three of Ryan and Melissa’s children while they go to a wedding, but we will have them in their own home, with their own bed, altogether a quite different scenario.
Back to work tomorrow and I am still tired. Good night and thank you for reading.
