Things are a lot quieter at home with Brian in Sydney, not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing. He called tonight and he is having a wonderful time, didn’t say he was missing me though. I daresay that by Wednesday he will be glad to get home.
My third son Blake is now home from Melbourne, for good I hope. We were going to catch up for dinner tomorrow night but I have a meting I had forgotten about, never mind, now he is home there will be plenty of opportunities.
Did you see the article on television tonight about the stress and strain being put on the doctors in Victor Harbor. Having lived in Clayton Bay I know first hand that the medical services down on the Fleurieu are not good, trying to see a GP is useless, there is just not enough of them and now they are cutting numbers, ludicrous. You think you have a problem seeing the doctor of your choice in Adelaide, or any doctor for that matter, that problem is exacerbated in the country.
Today was one of the busiest days I have had at the office, my bosses are away for a well-earned few days, and Bridgette and I were flat-out. When you consider today was supposed to be my day off every second call was for me. As I have three meetings tomorrow it is probably just as well I was there to handle the calls today, as tomorrow would have been impossible.
Well I am a bit tired now so am going to stretch out on my big bed while I can. Thank you for reading.
