I have just come upstairs so Brian can watch Mrs Brown’s Boys in peace and as I was closing the blinds I noticed a fox scoot across our front yard. We were used to this in the country, rabbits, foxes, all types of birds, the occasional kangaroo and the odd snake, but in metropolitan Adelaide it makes you take note. I suppose when you consider our proximity to the beach, and there is a lot of sandy scrub between the road and the foreshore, perhaps we should not be so surprised. That is the one thing I miss about living in the country, the wildlife, not the snakes, but just about everything else.
Another busy day at work, fortunately I have no meetings this week and only two next week so I am right up with things at the moment. I did get contacted by two developers today about arranging the Inaugural General Meetings for two new corporations, another two notches on my belt thank you very much.
I did get an interesting email from an interstate owner wanting me to remove him from the owners list of one of my corporations to avoid paying fees, it doesn’t quite work like that. I would love to be a fly on the wall when he reads my response. You can’t get rid of me that easily mate, you may have to sell.
I had another owner who wants the corporation to pay to trim the tree in her rear yard as it is encroaching on her pipes and filling her gutters with leaves, what’s more she did not plant the tree, the previous owner did. Would you like me to contact them and have them deal with it? She was not happy Jan when I explained this was a Community Corporation and therefore her problem, some people will try anything.
You have to laugh. Goodnight and thank you for reading.
