The house is very quiet, Brian is with his brother Ian in Tasmania for the weekend. It has been a very long time indeed since Brian and Ian spent any real time together, I just hope they play nicely. They have gone to Tasmania as the anniversary of their father’s passing is this week, so they are visiting his remaining brothers. I have spoken to Brian tonight, so far so good.
My eldest granddaughter Caitlin today received an aquatic attachment for her cochlear implant which means for the first time she can hear water as it runs over her in the shower, and hear the splash as she romps in a pool. This may not seem like a big deal to some, but to Caitlin it is massive.
It’s the end of another busy week, this week I got another two new corporations with more coming, my portfolio is certainly growing. What is more important is that I am still enjoying my job, next week will be my first anniversary and we are celebrating with a staff breakfast, how different from before.
Sweet stuff all on television tonight, and as the Adelaide Crows are playing tomorrow afternoon I had best hire a DVD for tomorrow night before the boredom drives me bananas. This is Brian’s first night away and already I miss his company. We can sit in the same room night after night, year after year, and say nothing, but when he is not there it is not the same.
It’s cold up here and I am a bit tired after a 4.30 start to take Brian to the airport so its off to bed. Goodnight and thank you for reading.
