Thoughts of a middle aged man…..11 September 2013

I have finally finished Dan Brown’s Inferno, what a great read. As we have come to expect from Dan Brown the twists and turns really keep you glued, the final twist in this book no-one could possibly see coming, but it does make you think. Without giving anything away he just might be onto something. The other thing that I like is that the storyline is interspersed with a certain amount of historical fact, you learn whilst being entertained.

It’s a lonely night here in North Haven, Brian had to attend an after hours meeting so I am on my lonesome. I have watched Big Brother and the ironing is done, nothing left to do but surf the internet.

I only worked a half day today and was home by 1.15 and asleep on the lounge by 2.00. I woke up at 3.00 as I was uncomfortable so laid down on the bed and woke up at 6.00, what a hard life. I did manage to get two loads of washing done in between. I will really miss my Wednesdays.

I cannot shake this cough, poor Brian has been sleeping in the spare bedroom for nearly a fortnight as it is making my snoring even worse. I cough all day and all night, I seem to be constantly sucking on a lozenge and I am over it, time to go back to the doctor. Don’t you just love how I share everything.

Brian has just called and he is on his way home, he is very tired and his back is aching. I had best go down and make him a nice cup of coffee.

Today is a day of remembrance for the lives lost on 11 September 2001, the day the world changed forever. May they rest in peace.
