I still can’t shake this cough so it was back to the doctor this morning, I’ve got him stumped as well. Today he suggested I use one of Brian’s inhalers for a couple of weeks, if it helps great if it doesn’t then I have to stop taking my blood pressure medication for a few weeks and see what difference that makes. If all else fails back to the doctor.
Brian and I have just come home from checking out a few open inspections. I absolutely fell in love with a very quirky house at Brukunga which had magnificent panoramic views. The house was built around the original stone cottage, both internal and external walls, the external walls now being internal as well, were surrounded by a more modern addition but it was done is complete sympathy with the original building. It was stunning, and split level which is what I am after.
There were just a few problems with this house, it came with 40 acres of land which of course came with a 40 acre price tag. The only other problem, I think Brukunga may a be a bit too far from Adelaide for us both to commute, but it might be a nice place to retire.
Today is the anniversary of the very unexpected passing of someone who was very special to me. I often think of you and wonder what you would be like today, would you have accepted my change in lifestyle, would we still be close, I guess I will never know. Strangely you still exert some influence over me to this day as it was through you that I found my love of pigeon racing, and I very much look forward to the day when I hear their gentle cooing in my back yard again. Brian is not quite as excited as I am at the prospect but he understands. It has been 32 years and I miss you still.
A piece of trivia for you, this is my 500th post on this blog. To those of you who take the time to read my waffle thank you very much, your support is greatly appreciated.
